Hi Lads, this is fantastic.
Are these up for retail? Have you an email I can contact you on?
Thanks Michael,
They are available for pre-order at:

Hiya
Great project. I would like to look at how it might be used with the XO laptop from “one laptop per child”.
Where might I find your code published?
Thanks
Tabitha
Hi Tabitha,
It’s an interesting idea to use this with the XO laptop. The sensor works (or plugs into) Arduino. Arduino is an open -source development board. It plugs into a computer via USB. So the laptop would need one available USB port….
Regarding the code. We are currently doing a kickstarter campaign. We are working on the code now and working on making it clear to read by people besides us. It will be published either towards the end of the campaign, or just after it ends.. This is late Aug or Mid Sept this year.
Hope this helps!
Hi,
We’re organising a little expo/experiment from 9 to 11 of September (http://vimeo.com/26286949) where we will connect a lot of OSC communicating devices to create a interactive creative surrounding partly based on the ideas of codebending (http://www.paperkettle.com/codebending/).
As one of the organisers I would love to add my heartbeat as a datastream. It would run for about nine hours a day so could be a nice long run test scenario.
Is there any chance to get one or two of these things shippend to the Netherland in time for our expo?
Hello Heinze,
Thanks for your interest in Pulse Sensor.
Your best bet for getting the sensor soonest would be to back us on kickstarter at the international shipping reward rate. we have two reward levels that include international shipping, Later on in the kickstarter fundraiser, we will be sending out a short survey, and you can remind us that you would like to receive the sensor sooner. We are in process of getting manufacturing done, and I can’t promise that we will send it sooner, but if we can, we will.
Joel
hi there. this thing is pretty cool but i dont entirely understand all of it because its pretty high tech. we’re doing research for a project at school (business and enterprise) and we were wondering if you could help us. our pretend product is a stering wheel that senses the driver’s pulse rate and sends a little shock to the driver after sensing the pulse rate decreasing (drivier falling asleep). we need to research prices and perhaps resources for where we could get our materiels from. if you think you could shed some light please contact us back? Hello epsom girl,
You could use any heart beat monitor to do your testing with, and our Pulse Sensor would certainly work well to monitor heart rate. Shock might not be the best way to alert the driver, especially if they are not expecting it and easily scared. Maybe something more like a smart phone app that would make a sound would be better.
Cheers,
Joel
helllo
I saw your pulse sensor on kickstarter and wanted to get one.
however, i found that the funding is already finished
would you please advise whether the sensor kit is still available to be pre-ordered?
thanks
Harry
Hi Harry,
We will be adding a buy button to this website shortly. Our entire first batch of Pulse Sensors will be shipping to our backers. You would expect to see the sensor in 4 to 6 weeks.
Joel
Thanks for your reply.
unfortunately, I couldn’t be your backer.
in this case, when can i see the buy button on your website and what will be the delivery time?
thanks
Harry
